Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and professional individual to join our team as a Facility Attendant. In this role, you will be responsible for facility operations, member interactions, and supporting fitness activities to enhance the overall experience for our members.
Key Responsibilities
--- Manage facility operations including lighting, security, safety, and maintenance.
--- Maintain clean and disinfected equipment and exercise areas.
--- Keep track of supplies and communicate needs to the Supervisor.
--- Greet and assist members, offering tours and information.
--- Process membership and merchandise transactions.
--- Schedule fitness consultations and assessments.
--- Assist members with exercise programs and supervise the free-weight room.
--- Engage in member interaction, ensuring excellent customer service and professionalism.
--- Support motivational contests and update bulletin boards.
--- Complete cleaning tasks and document duties as required.
Qualifications
--- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
--- Degree or working towards a degree in an exercise-related field (preferred).
--- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with electronic membership platforms.
--- Active BLS Certification (or must be obtained within 6 months of hire).
--- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
