Job Description:
CRNA openings - Sioux City, IA Located 95m to Omaha Position
Details - Full-time, permanent- Locums also available-
Hospital-based- Under limited supervision, performs clinical CRNA
duties under the direction and supervision of the department
medical director, anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other attending
physicians.- CRNAs will maintain professional credentials, clinical
knowledge and skills, and physical status capable of delivering
safe and effective anesthesia care to all patients treated by Mercy
Medical Services. - The quality of anesthesia will be no less than
that considered to be the standard of care by the ASA and AANA. -
Adheres to the principles of Service Excellence Guiding Behaviors
and the philosophy and mission of Mercy in all aspects of job
performance.- CRNA will be working with limited supervision-
Average # of surgical cases per day: approximately 15+ out of the
department (endo, cath lab, radiology, etc)- Trauma level 2- OR
staffed 24/7 with RN and CST- 11 operating rooms- Adult
demographic- Cardiothoracic experience is preferred, but will train
(including PICC lines)- Open to experienced or new grads - willing
to train- Cerner Compensation - Base salary based on experience:
0-2 years $198,000; 2-4 years $205,000; 4+ years $228,800- Excess
Call & Short term emergency call: - 1st Call Restricted
(Monday-Friday - 3p-7a - 16 hours) $2,000, $3000 - 1st Call
Restricted Wkend Day (Sat or Sun - 7a-7a - 24 hrs) $2,400, $3,600 -
2nd Call Unrestricted (every day - 7a-7a - 24 hours) $1,000, $1,500

Requirements - Board Certified- Cardiac experience - PREFERRED-
Note experience with the following procedures: General Surgical
Cases - adult, General Surgical Cases - pediatric, Minor Nerve
Blocks, IV Regional anesthesia, Plexus anesthesia, Spinal
Anesthesia, Regional Anesthesia, Neurosurgical Cases, Local
Infiltration, PICC Lines - REQUIRED- ACLS, BLS, NBCRNA, PALS
