  • Job Details
  • Omaha, NE hospital in need of RN for a 4 bed outpatient Surgery Center, comfortable scrubbing and circulating. A wide variety of cases with an emphasis on Ortho skills.
  • Recovery room experience preferred, not required though.
  • Outpatient Surgery has 4 rooms. Most of their patients go home, however, they do have some surgicals that require being transferred to the floor for overnight stay. The OR RN would need BLS certification
  • Main OR has 10 beds.
    • Job Requirements
    • Experience in all service lines is required
    • BLS, ACLS certifications required
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts & Scheduling: 8 and 12 hours shifts, 0630-1500, 0630-1900, 1830-0700, Self-scheduling, cyclic schedule, and department need
      • Weeknight/Call Requirements: 1- 4 hour call after a shift every week
      • Weekend/Call Requirements: Weekend call from Fri evening to Sun evening about every 5 weeks. We have 2 call teams, every 12 hours the teams alternate between first call and second call
      • Holiday/Call Requirements: Rotation between in house and 2 call teams

        • Common Cases: All diagnoses and all ages- pediatrics in emergency situations, Outpatient, Inpatient of all acuities including Level I trauma

        • No floating outside of OR
        • Green scrubs provided by the hospital
        • Number of shifts for unit/department specific orientation: 1 week
        • Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidate may not be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
        • RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13-week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
